bumper problems

I have purchased a super s bumper a bargain. I am now needing to repair a small crack and also the dark green paint has orange peel . I am wondering how to prepare it for a respray to my cars colour of starburst silver (K11)!! any help is much appreciated

Whenever I've painted I've always flatted back with very fine wet and dry paper, sprayed the panel and then sprayed lacquer.

I'm by no means a painting expert but that is usually good enough for me

what grade wet and dry paper do you use to start and to finish ??

After recently doing the same thing your planning to do I started with P800 and went all the way to P1500 and I'm pleased with the results... Pics are on my blog.
