hello! i have found a set of wheels that i like that are 15x8 ET15, i was just wondering how much poke i will get from them? maby a pic showing similar size and offset :) and also i would like to lower my car 50-60mm aswell, would this create big problem with these wheels? i realise there probibly will be some pulling and stretching involved but i dont mind a little hard work :p and last thing, any recommendations on tyre sizes aswell?

thank you for your time :)

well there is 38mm more width either side of the wheel + 30mm more ET, so thats 68mm more wheel poke than stock

A little research has shown that it could well be do-able

Change the new tyre size and you'll get an idea of how different sizes will work. I'd guess that the shoulder of the tyre would be about 30-40mm further out than the shoulder of the stock tyre size. with the 165/55s

165/50 for rather a lot of stretch

175/50 for a bit less stretch

185/50 for sensible stretch, but lots of tyre wall

195/45 for slight stretch/straightish sidewalls

wow! thank you for all of that! :D im not keen on stretching the crap out of the tires so them last ones look pretty good :) im still getting used to wheel and tyre sizes and stuff so that was a big help :D

These are 15x8 Et 0, so they will stick out 15mm less than this. The tyres are 195/50 15. So with smaller tyres and the 15mm less poke you can probably do it.

well im quite new to this, just thought that if i asked around, you lot would probably be able to find some better pictures, i have searched for myself but it seems to be quite uncommon and the pictures that i do find often don't specify wheel specs, how much the car was lowered or what problems they had... just thought id make use of my resources ;)
