Another noisey micra

Quite often now there is a low volume, but audible, high pitch whining noise coming from the car while its moving. It seems worse when slowing down with the car in gear, but can also be heard when the clutch is fully disengauged as well.

Im guessing its gearbox related as its fine when standing still.

What do u guys think? Get it checked over by a garage?

Top the gear box up wi gear box oil, i did this an its quieter, Also dont hold onto the gearstick whilst driving round corners, as this makes mine louder lol

Mine does that, and also makes a myriad of other noises too, I've been informed my gearbox only has a month left to live as the input shaft bearing is on the way out
(Not saying thats whats gonna happen to yours though, probably not in fact)

my cars does the same, mines the something with the audio, when my cd player is off it stops! think mine comes from the left door speaker

this is definently a mechanical sound, so i'm gonna get her checked out by a mate of mine who works at a garage. Needs a service anyway.
