NISSAN MICRA 1995 ADVICE

Hi
I'm learning to drive on monday
And looking to buy a car well its going to be stored at a familys garage
There is a 1995 75k micra for sale here i think asking £300
I have couple of issues
1- Is this to expensive as i live on the isle of wight and that is very high here
2- Doesnt have power steering and wondering if will be heavy
3- owner says it has had a replacement clutch and gearbox
But i'm guessing wont be a new gear box

£300 isn't really expensive for anything. If the car is in good nick then its a steal. Just check it out, and get as much info as you can. PPl can be quite flexible about condition. Ive looked at many great/mint cars over the years only to find them in a sorry state when I've turned up to view. Good luck.
