Aluminium radiators ?

Anyone experienced ally rads ? I expect Micra made ones are hard to come by and expensive but has anyone tried like classic mini types or whatever ?

Would a civic half rad work well I wonder? Bout same width and hoses is right spot

Main thing would be the right pressures I suppose and pipe work although the other question would be could you use like silicon elbows with steel it ally joined and clamp them all together ? Providing all diamiters are correct even undersize for a nice tight fit could work ? I don't mind a full rad as I have no a/c system and would be more beneficial and reliable

if ur after a cost effective easy direct fit rad try upgrading to a 28mm k11 automatic rad by Nissen part# 629871 £70
it handles my 160bhp turbo setup on a trackday all day long no prob.

I have an alloy civic rad
Top hose is in the right place, lower hose will see you removing the front engine mount as it's the opposite

Good fit, decent size, very light and well priced
