Airbag bolts

Yeah, this has been covered, but with no definitive answer.

What is the torx bit size needed to undo the airbag bolts? I've had a look, and T50 was mentioned once, and I've matched it up, but it looks maybe a little to small.

I know it has to have the bit drilled out the middle, but is the size T50?

Anyone know?

i have a proper torx bit with the hole in the bottom, i will get the spec of it tomorrow

just checked my torx bit that i used yesterday, i did the airbag bolts with it, it says T50 on the side. it has a hole in the end, you can buy them with a hole in the end, i wouldn't recommend trying to drill the hole as you will just weaken it

you can buy the ones with holes in them (security torx i think there called) from halfords i seen them the other day
