Hey guys,

Been a while since I've posted, but here we go...

I'm wondering if parts from a '88 4door car would fit my '90 2door.

Thinking about:

- seats, front and rear (for spares, but driver and rear top mostly)
- brakes (rotors, calipers in front; drums etc in the rear)
- differences between the years?

That's it, as the rest of the drive train should all be the same, I'm guessing. If anyone knows differences please let me know.

Thanks.

The seats should go in no problems, the front brakes will be the same too. The rear drums are slightly different (i know this because i have an '84 rear axle on my '90) they are slighty smaller, also they use a different hand break cable.

The rear doors aren't a straight swap.

infact almost mipossible to swap o_O
but as george says nothing a big hammer wont fix :p

as said rear drums are smaller and use a different cable adjuster also.

also frnot passenger if i remember correctly wont be "slide action" if your planning on putting it to the 2 door. so no access to the rear!!

the back seats will fit but may well be different due to seperation.
older 4 doors are more common for the split in the middle were the later model 2 doors were 1 complete back seat!!

but the full front drivechain system is ok and interchangable

bonnet, lights grill etc are different also
