160SR Quick Improvements

Hi All. Just wondering what I could do quickly and more importantly cheaply in order to improve the horsepower. I was thinking of replacing the air filter and spark plugs. Would this make much difference? If not has anyone got any better idea?

Check my thread and pictures about Induction Kits for the 160 SR. To start, change the air filter panel for a K&N Nissan Note 1.6 type. But also remove the passenger side fog lamp and replace it with a cold feed induction kit. (£28 off E bay) It feels noticably quicker and revs much cleaner above 5,000rpm!
