1.4 almera into a k11

Does the 1.4 almera engine fit in the k11 easy or do they need loads of work
to make them go ..

yer its the ga ive got a ga13 for the turbo conversion but i have the chance of a rear ended almera thought with the turbo convesion the 1.4 may give a few extra horses

1.4 engine is pants as standard, but 1.6 is pretty good (Used to have one in my almera SRi).

GA16 is totally bomb proof. Fit one then turbo it. It will go like stink.

Ed whats involved with fitting the 1600 and would it need pistons when turboing im only looking to run around 7-9 psi

I would've thought the cast iron block would be stronger and therefore smaller than the alloy block

They are smaller(thinner), and so quite often not as heavy as you may at first think.

Speak to others about the GA16 conversion, its not too bad but does take work.

the GA engine isn't that bad to fit actually, its just making sure you mount it properly otherwise you get clearance issues!

good solid engines, as Ed said, turboed ones are pretty nifty..

but the ga14 wont be as fast as a cg13. for one its havier. i would ither go cg13 or ga16.
