D Dewgel Buy & Sell Member Sep 7, 2008 #6 I can't really see there being much different between the 1.4 K11 CGA engine anyway, or is there something I'm missing?

Ed Fusion Motorsport MSC Founder Official MSC Trader Sep 7, 2008 #10 GA16 is totally bomb proof. Fit one then turbo it. It will go like stink.
nexussteve The reason you're happy! Sep 7, 2008 #11 Is stink fast?? Coz it usually takes several seconds after I've dropped my guts before people leave the room...

ollyc98 Ex. Club Member Sep 8, 2008 #14 I would've thought the cast iron block would be stronger and therefore smaller than the alloy block
Ed Fusion Motorsport MSC Founder Official MSC Trader Sep 8, 2008 #15 They are smaller(thinner), and so quite often not as heavy as you may at first think. Speak to others about the GA16 conversion, its not too bad but does take work.

Q quickdraw Ex. Club Member Sep 13, 2008 #20 the GA engine isn't that bad to fit actually, its just making sure you mount it properly otherwise you get clearance issues! good solid engines, as Ed said, turboed ones are pretty nifty..
