1.0 Distributor head

I have just received a CG13DE to swap into my pre facelift 1.0 distributor engined micra.
However the engine I have received is from a later coil pack micra.
Can I swap the 1.0 distributor head from my mica onto the CG13DE block or are there more differences between the coil pack and distributor engines that would prevent me being able to do this.

Good to hear, I got the engine from a breakers and when a coil pack engine turned up I was a bit surprised to say the least.

the only drawback is that the 1348 exh cam wont have the dizzy drive slot

So will I be able to swap the 1275 inlet cam into the 1.0 head but not the exhaust cam?

the 1275 exh cam has the slot, but the coilpack cams dont, i cut a slot a couple of times in the past

So does the 1275 only come with a distributor then and the 1348 is the coil pack engine.

Looks like the engine I have then is either a coil pack 1.0 or the 1348 then.

It'll have cga3 stamped on the block next to the gearbox if it's the 1348 one.
