does anyone know the limits of the 1.0 gearbox, i ask because they are shorter ratios are they not and im wanting to use one. also can i bolt the 1.0 to an auto box.

The best gear box to use is the 1.0 gear box from a 2000 spec Micra with 14" wheels, this has a final drive ratio of 4.4?? : 1 instead of the standard 3.7??:1 final drive. You need the back plate as the starter motor bolts from the other side on the late K11. This gear box uses the same drive shafts as the 1.3 micra.

Common Misconception, it doesn't. If you want the Cg10 box, you need to change the shafts.

the later gearbox, the one hes talkin about does use the same shafts as the 1.3. they are completly different from the previous 1.0 boxes.

i already have that box i just want to use it with a 1.4, and i want to know how much i can tune it up before the box will play up.

Ne ideas on how much bhp it can take? thanks!
