The gearbox in my prefacelift 1litre is on its way out can I use facelift gearboxes or does it have to be s prefacelift my car is 1998

What i understand is that every gearbox goes on every model but to use other than preface 1liter gbox in 1litre preface you need to change/make a gbox mount and you need driveshafts from any other model as the splines are different. Also i think you need flywheel and clutch kit from 1.3 liter too. Somebody else knows better. Try search bar for more info.
