I'm pretty sure it just bolts on. I'd buy the part and then go to the garage and ask them. Your probably gonna need to remove the front bumper to get right in.

Sorry for the slow reply mate. I replied on my phone but it obviously never went through. My dad changed the crossmember. He got the full part on ebay for around £30 so it's not expensive. You will get new bolts etc so it's a straight forward job.

I got my crossmember changed last week. It was affecting the bonnet. It wouldn't close right down and kept popping up whilst driving. It didn't affect my driving although it's very distracting having your bonnet bounce up and down.

Turns up it was the heat shield. Didn't need to take it off just jammed a bolt in to stop it rattling.

My cars only a 998cc so it doesn't do much fast gear shifts. Only cruises looking good

You get them in Black, Red & Blue as well. I thought red would maybe be a little too much given the red mats. There on ebay, £40 and £10 postage. Not to sure if the X on the seats changes colour but the red definitely complements the car.

The noise is actually coming from my engine. I popped the bonet and i'm sure its coming from there.

I've not been under the car yet. I got a brand new exhaust this time last year. I'll have a look under tomorrow. Some one else told me it might be the timing chain but im unsure. Exhaust seems most likely and easy fix. Thanks for your help.

I just fitted new seat covers. I'm having difficulty fitting the rear ones as the seat doesn't lift up underneath. I was windering if anyone had any tips for fitting rear seat covers. I have posted a few pictures of the front seats with the old then new covers on. Opinions ? Before After

Im currently looking for new seat covers. The seats are the exact same as the door print and not very nice. Yet to decide on a colour of covers though.
