For those too young to remember what the last one is; it's a facelifted and re-badged third generation Mitsubishi Lancer. Fantastic engine, and why not, it's a Lancer engine. (Y)

So you own all of the above cars plus loadsa minis? Or you have owned?

Yep, all of em present and serving. I only ever really drive the black super s & the red gs special, those two are my favorites. The rest of them i've pretty much left for everyone else in the house to drive, everyone has thier favorite.
Even though i'm not putting the miles on the other cars i still get stuck with maintaining them. Ah well that's family i guess lol.
The mini's are projects and aren't on the road that's why i didn't count them, a 1967 mk1 morris mini minor 850 delux, and a 1976 mk2 british-layland mini 850 delux automatic. Did have an 1985 mini van but that moved on to make room for the black super s. It's like a micra carpark here (Y)

92 1.2i Nova luxe +, 45bhp  although full service history , 55k from new and very little rust almost make up for the lack of go.

The best part is ive never bought a car that doesnt work, less then 6 months t&t and cost more than £300 :grinning:

My current K12 is the second I've had, I leased a 1.0 for about 8 months then bought a DCi. I thought about swapping it but I've lost so much cash on it and to be honest it does everything I ask (except not break down). It's lasted 35,000miles on one set of tyres and does 53mpg at warp 2.

whilst that's in the garage I've borrowed my wife's 1999 Fiesta. We've had this from new too and again it's not worth selling, besides at the moment it defines reliabilty.

Rusting away somewhere is my old Cavalier 1.7d, lovely car I used to commute 120miles a day in that.
in hiding I have a RS2000
On the drive I have some Range Rover classics. My wife's needs putting bck together after the weld-a-thon, my LSE needs a new (upgraded) gearbox and the off-roader needs loads of welding.
I teach so I don't have much time free until the holidays, that's why I resent my car breaking down TWICE this term, I have no choice but to get someone else to fix it now.

A few years ago I had a count up and I owned 18 cars, it's considerably less now.

WERD-UP Y'ALL

Other motors? Well, as you may be able to tell by my username, I like Rover 800 Sterlings, hence I own 3 of them:

My 2 faves, off the road at the moment:
2-RIDEZ.jpg

Usually they FLY LYKE A G6.

This needs a gearbox fitting, I might get around to it one day, probably:
AbandonnedRIDEZ.jpg

All my Rovers got electric full leather seats (Front and rear), V6 engines, alloys AN' ALL DAT YO!

This is my current main RIDEZ YO!

Damn Sterling, Just understood where you nick is from, a friend of mine had a Sterling, auto gearbox, sunroof, V6 Honda engine, we called it THE TANK. Good memories.

I only have the K11 1.0L manual gearbox, ciglighter fitted, NGK sparkplugs, KN airfilter, Super S spoiler, Super S mudflaps, Super S rear bumper, Super S tweeters, Panasonic CD/MP3 player, 45w speakers,

My old man got a grey 2004 Corolla Turbo Diesel 90HP:
biquet12_1077444454_grise2.jpg

Comfy, but not as fun as the K11. Diesel noise and feeling suck...

Merci cher Seb!

I noticed that Rovers seem to be held in higher regard in Europe than in England. Having looked at the prices they seem to go for, they do command good prices, here you can pick one up for about £500 (I bought all the 3 Sterlings above for less than £700) though they do seem be going up in price, possibly due to the market starting to realise its rarity.

Had these two at one point:
K10 Super S : K11 Super S

Can check my blogs for images of pure brilliance... :wasntme:

Right! Here goes...

1. 1996 Toyota Corolla Sportif Swapped 20 fags for it 3 years ago. Since then has covered 60,000 miles of reckless and careless driving! Last year I treated it to some 40mm lowering springs, timing belt (overdue), radiator (no fins left in original) and a wash!
I'd post some pics but I've recently had it painted and converted into a van! I'm waiting to get some nice alloys and have the rear panelled in aluminium then I'll post them.

2. 1995 Micra Super S The one in my blog. Currently in bits. Recently lost spare storage area (They're building flats) so trying to sort out more space to finish it off. Its the one in my blog, I'm turning it into a track day terror!

3. 1999 Micra 'Inspiration' The Wifes car. Bought as a cheap category C write off. I replaced the N/S wing, bumper and bonnet. Its done 140,000 miles and she won't part with it! I've offered her newer, lower mileage ones but she insists on keeping this one. Recently the NATS died so it was treated to one of Eds ECUs.

4. 1998 Micra Vibe Got it cheap because it needed a gearbox. Done that and realised it needed a crossmember, sills welded, 2 front wishbones and new brakes. For sale soon!

5. 1999 Micra 'Profile' another Category C! All it needed was new locks, an Ed ECU and a scratch on the drivers door fixed. Booked in for its VIC test then its up for sale. Only done 37000 miles!

6. 1996 Micra Muzic Bit rough but we have done all the work it needed for its MOT. Taxed, MOT'd. Will make someone a great wee runabout. On ebay now.

7. 1998 Micra GX Very low mileage, great condition. Being auctioned on ebay now. Finishes tomorrow.

8. 1995 Micra SLX Bit too old for me to bother with really but its in great condition with low mileage. Autobox is knackered though so its in bits while we rebuild it!

9. 1999 Suzuki Vitara Bought to do up and sell. Someone tried to nick it half way thru! For sale on ebay now, spares or repair. Gits!

10. 2004 Suzuki Ignis Sport I'm supposed to be selling it but I've not been trying very hard because its great fun to drive! Its for sale grudgingly on ebay!

and a couple of 'Spares' micras in various states of disassembly!

I've only been driving a couple of years so my list is fairly short. I personally own 2 cars.

- Mazda RX8 1.3 230hp in Nordic Green
- 94 Micra 1.0 L in White

Also chock full of toys - leather heated seats, climate control, cruise control, fully electric seats and windows!

Well - I've got 6 at the moment (I'm rationalising). There's one going away on Saturday but another arriving on Sunday so the rationalising isn't actually going that well.

First off the GTM

GTM.jpg

The car arriving on Sunday is another of these but like the vast majority of them it's red. This is the one that's getting the CG13 engine.

The other big project

27092008092-1.jpg

Not a real one coz my pockets aren't that deep. The engine makes 200bhp out of the box and I'm looking at a relatively easy upgrade to just shy of 400bhp (we like engines breathed on by Cosworth). It's 4 wheel drive and with the current gearing and diffs it tops out at around 150mph (rev limiter but will pull hard all the way there) but you can fit a longer gearset (from a diesel Transit bizarrely) which takes that to nearer 200mph if you're brave enough (I don't think I am). Going to be a long while before this hits the road though.

My daily smoker

Volvo.jpg

There are two 4x4 Sierras (one 2.0DOHC and a 2.9V6) and finally a metallic green K11 (which is going to give up it's engine for the GTM).

Iain

How much did those alloys cost??? ^^^^^^^^

Well I got them VERY cheap at £450 a few years back and then had them painted and polished myself! I havent seen another set of these rare Enkei wheels since then! To import a similar sized set from Japan will prob cost well over £1000 with no tyres!!!!
