Xenon Light

Hi everyone,

I was looking at getting these fitted into my car.

But im not sure if i should go for the cheap ebay job and get some bulbs...
Or...
Go and buy the proper HID packs (which include blubs, powerpacks etc...)

I dont know much about Xenon lights so was wondering if anyone could give me some information :grinning:

don't bother. they are illegal to use hid bulbs on a lamp not designed for hid. plus you also need headlamp washers and an auto headlight leveling system.
i fitted hid's in my k11 (with the ballast packs) and even with them aimed at the floor, people still kept flashing me as i was dazzeling them. so i took them out.

i dont think i want to spend all the money for the proper pack and the light wipers etc..
i might just buy some bulbs from halfords, i know they do some or just a cheap pair of problly fake xenons from ebay.

Are the micra lights? H7?

i would recommend these mate provide a nice clear light not a bad price either i wouldn`t go for ebay ones as i`ve found they bust quite quickly

I've got Extreme Blue +50% in mine, you can get +90% as well which is still legal.

i haven`t mate as the car them bulbs are in is off the road due to a broke gearbox

O okay i think thats all i need to check if they was h4 or h7.

Will look on ebay as i will be keeping the orginal bulbs for MOT etc.. so i wudnt mind if they dont last as long as other.

Headlights are H4
Fog Lamps are H1

I've got Ring Xenon Max (90% more) in my car at the mo and very pleased with the extra light it gave

I thought Fog Lamps were H3? Or does that depend on Pre/Facelift K11.

My facelift takes H1 bulbs,not sure about Pre Facelifts

I brought those friday afternoon and the postman woke me up at 8 on the saturday delivering them! Woke me up but glad iv got them, will be fitting them in today and letting you know if its worth it
