Wiring head unit

Ok, wanting to swap from CD to minidisc, it's the wiring thats the problem.

Am i right in thinking its a nissan to ISO wire thing i need?

Would that give a way of joining the aerial too?

And the new unit doesnt seem to have an earth wire, is that right?!

Yes, there only about a tenner i think.

as for the aerial the new head unit should come with a plug for the aerial, which fits into your existing plug

i dont have the aerial plug..

are these available to buy speratly? the units Sony if it makes any difference

My sony head unit came with on, but i didnt need it as the old radio allready had one, the plug looks like a bullet, and yes you can buy them seperatly, try halfords, motorworld or A1 motorstores

Sony, depending on age you may need the Nissan to ISO, about £10, then the ISO to Sony, about £20!
My HU did come with self wire connectors but rather be safe.
