wiper problems

ok its been long enough now...my rear wiper doesnt work...it hasnt worked since ive bought it and its starting to pi.ss me off to be quite honest...i twist the thing on the stalk by the steering wheel and nothing?...and tbh im not mechanically minded so i dont have a clue? any ideas what it could be?

there is a relay in the boot on the right hand side, check that, its behind the trim

Have a look at the wiring loom where it goes between the body and the tail gate, a wire or wires often break due to the tail gate being operated. Very commom.
