Windows won't roll down

I've got a Y: reg Micra vibe with manual windows. This morning it was extremely cold and they were slightly frozen. While attempting to roll them down, i heard a click and now i can't roll them down. The handle just spins round and round without moving the window. I can still roll them up however (which is useful because when i shut my door, the window jolts down 1/4 of the way).

Does this sound quite straight forward to fix or is it a case of taking it to the garage ?

sounds like the glue in the red plastic thing holding the glass has broken all u need to do is take off ur door panel theres already posts on how to do that if u search u find it but once its off u just stick lots of decent glue in the plastic holder thingy put the glass back in it wait till glue is dry n its fixed...ok might not make that much sense but once u taken off ur door panel u understand
