I need an alarm for my car. it currently has a NATS imobiliser. If possible total encloser as i have electic windows as well.

Any recommendations?

My mate has a clifford one which has intergration with electric windows. Its quite an impressive piece of kit. The windows close automatically when arming the car. He paid quite a bit for his tho, but his also included remote start, closing of the sunroof and a few other automatic things.

Just rung my mate up, he got his from Gap Security at the cost of £1100!!!!!!!!!

I just bought this off ebay

do you think it will be ok until I can afford to buy a good one such as clifford or toad?

I just can't afford to spend lots of money atm due to the wedding being 12 weeks away etc so I thought it be better to have some sort of alarm than none at all.

there are some even cheaper ones on ebay but most of them don't have the central locking integration.

The pull up aerial on that keyfob made me laugh! its probably ok. Cheap kits dont always mean dodgey tho. I think i paid £60 for a remote central locking kit, alarm, immobilizer, anti hijack, shock sensor etc and it works for about 30+ meters away!!!

Absolute ebay bargain. I'l try have a look later and see if they're still on there.. i bought it a while back now

ive just had a toad AI606 put on mine last week, its got an internal sensor so if anyone opens the door or boot the alarm goes off and proximeter sensor on it.I got specialist security to do mine at only £359. 01243 582322,dont go with gap they are too overpriced and they have bad words said about them. The same alarm as mine from gap costs an extra £50-60.

We'll be stocking alarms @ Mk Audio but were not ready to launch yet.

I have sourced a company that does various alarm kits and these will be for sale from £79.99 upto £499.99.

Kev :)

Kev i'm looking for a thachams approved that had remote centeral locking, total enclosure, Tilt switch and ultra sonics - any recommendations?

Well the alarms we will be stocking are thacham approved and we can certainly provide you with a unit that will meet your requirements.

I'm at work now, but I'll have a look through the brochure that I picked up at C.A.R Expo yesterday. I'll get back to you with a list of models and prices.

I may be able to supply this unit to you in the next few days, pending on if our card net machine is delivered, we are looking at realistictly being operational in some degree within a month.

If you can't wait then any of the clifford or toad range will meet your requirements, I may be able to save you some £££'s with a similiar unit that will do just as good a job.

Kev
