Whats needed now?

I have bought a new head unit for my car

and have this sub

i intend on buying some front speakers for about £50, and then something like £150 for the amp so i was wondering what route should i go with the amp:
1) Mono channel for the sub and power the front speakers off the HU
2) Mono channel for sub and seperate amp for the front speakers
3) 4 channel power front speakers and bridge 2 channels for the sub (would this raise issues with impedendance not matching as the sub is 4ohms?)

First things first... u wont be able to just plug in the HU. You will have to go buy one of those adaptor things, £12 if i can remember

yea i thought so i intend on getting that when the HU arrives. my main issue is what amp setup to have as i only have bout £150 to spend on amp(s)

the place i work at sells them both for £10 each
i think halfords sells them like £15 each or more
im guessing ebay is dirt cheap as always

do you know which front speakers your getting?
if you power them off an amplifier the quality will be better then if you power them off the HU (and obviously they will be louder)

speakers i'm not sure about, the biggest size i can fit without having to fabricate a holding for them,

no, you dont need a fascia adapter, and that is the correct lead.

You would probibly be better off holding off a bit on front speakers and spent £150 on them. I had a pair of these in the front of my K12In Phase only £130 from there too. The sound was amazing from them.

thanks for the advice! Does anyone know the mounting depth for front door speakers on the k10? I can't seem to find it anywhere. As i am thinking of getting these front speakers

Your buying components so I guess your willing to modify, just buy the components and make up some spacers/ risers if they dont fit.

13cm speakers will easily clear the window winder, in stock position.

Im sure either of these (below) could be made to fit if you want, but im not sure if they come with the crossover stuff you would need.

I now have the majority of my system for about £260
Head Unit: Clarion DXZ748RMP
Components: Infinity Reference 500cs with 2x crossovers
Sud: Alpine SWE-1241
Amp: Rockford Fosgate P4004

How should i wire the head unit to the amp as i have a 6ch output (front, rear + sub) yet i have: black, green, grey and violet preouts it appears. Anyone know which corresponds to which channel as i can't find it anywhere
