What is this connector?

When I bought this car it came with an external temp. gauge, I was checking the cabling because I don't think it's properly done and found some unplugged connectors.
The tachometer shroud only has one dial, the light height regulator (on the right, which was previously spliced to get light on the external temp. gauge). There was this other one which was unplugged and I cant find what it is.

One is the front foglights, the other is probably the electric headlight height regulator. There should be two connectors with a somewhat oval shape hidden near the headlamps, sticked to the wiring loom. I managed to make it work, but only in 2 out of the 4-5 positions they should have. It looks like most pre restyling had the same wiring loom, later on they started to save pennies everywhere.
