What do you do for a living??

So what does everyone here do for a living???

Me i am still at college on a public services course,
i am currently working part time at decathlon in grays lakeside and
i also work at a printing place because its good money.

so what do you do???
 
currently working in Sainsbury's in one of their supermarkets. After the summer i will move to the head office and go into the supply chain with a 120% pay rise :love:
 
I'm an IT Project Consultant for a company called Comtecs in Tunbridge Wells, I do Onsite IT Support for clients, as well as design and code websites in PHP+HTML :)
 
Im a Student in College studying Computer Hardware, Internet and Media...

i also work in coop on checkouts
 
My mates got an interview tomorrow also for the bank!

I work tech Support for Scottish & Southern Energy, simiar to what James does with the onsite Computer support! The joys of Java!!
Also do alot of Music tech work with local bands and recording studios. Have 11 years of Guitar experience (have 6 to my name!), and always involed in local gigs and Battle of the Bands tournements. Currently doing alot of solo work and loving it :)

I want to learn guitar, but dont know where to start, i have the stuff, like me electric and Amp etc... but no experiance...:(
 
Im a grease monkey, Im a technician for Renault, hoping to move on and do my RTE course and earn mega bux :>
 
I am service manager\operations director for an electronics company that deals with reseller returns and loan stock
 
Work at the Inland Revenue.

Although i have an HND in computing and a lot of experience with HTML, some VB6 and i done the odd bit of php and mySQL in the past.

Would rather put my computing skills to use in a job but it aint happening as for finding one.
 
Im at uni doing software engineering, just starting a placement year as a software developer at astrazeneca. before that i was cleaning part time tho. Also do a bit of computer/website fixing/programming for a few people too.
 
Network administrator and support technician for an Energy Consultancy (the only one at the entire place!) Lots of pressure when things go wrong

Dabble in Dj'ing and sound engineering too.
 
Become a student in september doing IT at uni. Store Supervisor/Duty Manager in a store just now though..

Do as much sound engineering, organising gigs ,etc as I can too. I see a lot of us are interested in IT + some form of music tech !

Hard Landscape Gardener - I build ponds, fences and walls :D But trying to sort out training to become a domestic electrician.
 
I'm an Electrical Engineer :p Though don't do installations that often, mainly do electrical inspections and testing. Then the remedial work, damn I hate that stuff

i do commercial and industrial buildings. :) im in 3rd year too. just a year left to go :D

I've got all my qualifications, I'm laughing ^_^ It's sorted :p So much fun playing with electric. haha. Some nasty things happen to new people....
 
I work at Sainsburys, I'm a cook in the staff canteen. Have been applying for other jobs for about a year now - no-one wants me in the jobs I really want, and the jobs I have been offered, the pay and benefits have been rubbish compared to Sainsburys.

I'm in in my last year of doing an Open Uni degree too, so hopefully that will provide a few more opportunities for me. :)
 
I work for a wholesale ADSL provider in slaford Quays. Running line tests all day is fun - NOT.

But i like the work, the people and it beat the hell hole of a prison i worked at last time.....
 
I'm a Recruitment Consultant working for a small agency in Birmingham called System Recruitment. We do Mainly IT recruitment, both permanent and contract, so if anyone knows of any IT companies that need positions filling, i'm your man! :)

We do dabble in Sales/marketing and higher level roles in other industries too, whatever is fillable really!!!

Used to be a nice, easy job....but for the last 3/4 months it's been so quiet it's beginning to hurt, not hitting targets :(
 
Building Surveyor for a large independant firm in the North of England and a serving Special Constable with South Yorkshire Police.

Though you might have got that from my signature.
 
Senior CAD Technician/Specialist (depending owhich business card you look at) for a Waste management consultancy.


i design landfill sites, the building releated to landfill sites and the road infrastructure to the landfill site, and the same for CA site (dumps) and all the restoration that comes aterwards, (making it look nice) that then get turneed in to Golf Courses, hourse racing tracks, parks, etc
 
part time @ Currys eletrical retailer doing sales and C/Services...

and Automotive engineering at uni currently looking for a placement at JungHeinrich of Warrington...
 
im an aerospace student, not a v.good one after that plane convo! if so many of you are electrically minded were can i wire up my hazard to the alarm? last attempt i just blew a fuse, and the haynes c.d. made it look more confusing!!!! by all means pm me if you have an answer!!:laugh:
