Welding questions.

If its not scrubbing, its not low enough.
The sills on my new beastie are a little and patched already, so instead of pratting around patching them i'd love too get the whole lot replaced too a high standard.
Anyone know people or a garage that will fit them properly.
Cut the old ones out, fit the new ones. Not the usual weld on top of old?
I think i can manage the painting myself but i just need this too be right, not sure i trust my works welder too do a good enough job.

Find a competent, recommended bodyshop matey.

Im lucky i can weld but i dont think i would try replace a complete sill, id rather get it done properly.

Try going into local garages near you and ask if they use a bodyshop local and then go see them and see what their premises are like.

I wont base anything on premises, i work in one of the oldest looking garages on the planet but i know for a fact its some of the best workmanship about.
I was hoping for names haha, may just get the holes patched properly, genuine sills are expensiveeeeeeee!

That is exactly the point i was making, the old repairs on the current sills are just welded over, hence the question, seems i'm buying whole sills then i'll find someone too sort it.
