Hey Guys

Got my Carb and air filter today!!! Cheers Batch!!!
Right Now i want to fit it!!! Can someone post a guide for fitting?
Need to know what i need ie choke cable etc
Whether i need a new gasket and if so which one(s) i need also if i want to paint the carb what sort of paint i need to do this!
Your guidance of course is gratefully received!
Also if anyone fancies going bluewater and also doing it for me i wouldn't mind

Also how can i improve my brakes can i put some from a better car on and how??? Will i only be able to use micra brakes or can i use primera ar bluebird brakes etc

the carb is very easy to fit, undo the four bolts which hold your original carb on, remove the throttle cable and unplug any wires, swop the carbs over and bolt it up.

the original throttle cable will work with the weber, if your missing a choke cable then order one from a carb specialist from out of the yellow pages.

I wouldnt paint the carb, it has moving parts which will be affected by the paint, i.e stop moving maybe.

Didnt Krazy offer to fit these for you? Hes done it before and knows what hes doing!

With regards to brakes, i've got some vented discs for sale if your interested. You can modify the existing calipers or buy new ones for them from brakeparts. I'l launch a new thread about this tho

yupp Krazzy has offered, and is def a poss, would like to have a try at it myself, was meant more in jest bout someone coming down to do it though i wouldn't complain!!! LOL

The vented discs sound cool how much diff do they make and how much do you reckon it'd be to buy the brakes and the callipers ballpark figure???

So do you need to change the gasket when you do it and which one???

Im not too sure on how much difference as i never fitted them, however venting is definitly a bonus! To buy, they are £22 each brand new, however i wont let them go for that much, chuck us an offer my way and i'l even deliver them in person if you get your carb done round krazys!

Also, you could attempt to do it yourself whilst krazy's fixing my suspension (again!). If you have any problems fitting it, he can sort it out for ya
