What is the best turbo too run on a 1.3 something smaller like a t2?

Depenfs what sort of power figure you're looking for, and what sort of power delivery you want. T2 will do 150hp ish comfortably and be spooled up by about 3k rpm from what I've read here as an example

Yer that would be decent I mean its all about being useable no point going bigger and not being able too use all the boost

I think 150 would be plenty I mean the people that are getting 180+ what turbo do you think they would use

T2 is too small imo, i used a td04 at 12psi and peak power was still only at 4800rpm

Where does power come in laggy or?

Laggy if your in a high gear and low speed but a simple gear change and id say the power was instant. A smaller turbo setup would work better in that situation but would run out of power up the rev range. Drive a standard gt turbo or starlet and youll see what i mean, its very boring!

Id also like to add i think alpina's end result will be spot on, i used to run a hybrid t3 years ago and it was decent

Me too decent turbo's are T3s
Quick spooling and capable of more thab adequate boost levels too

Comes on a variety of vehicles.
Subaru, Saab & Mitsubishi are the more common

Saab ones have a better flange for our use and are usually cheaper than the more sought after subaru units

Saab seems too cheaper in every aspect but nice good to know
