Does this common fault affect all years or did Nissan sort it out for the later cars.

AND, what exactly is the fault? There is a DIY fix I understand? What is it?

It has been noted as a common problem for k11 micras to suffer from some dry solder joints inside the throttle body's electrical compartment. This can make the car have terrible fuel consumption, jerky/rough idle, loss of low to mid range power and intermittent stalling.
