Super s models?

Pondering over owning another super s when I came across this...

I know the arches are Nissan and were extras if you wanted them. I was more wondering what the colourful tailgate was all about and the half finished bumpers. Does anyone know why Nissan prepared these in a strange way

went to see this car y'day.. looks better in pictures if i put it in a nice way.. and in the pictures its needs some work... clutch pedal needs attention.. springs back really bad on gear its. needs work to get it looking good again and poss full re spray.. and them arches were added on extra and bumpers trims by the previous owner according to him
