Stupid PITA fault with rear number plate lights

Gone through 3 different pairs of rear number plate lights now, one pair were the standard bulbs, next pair were LED, they went because they were too long, and flexed so the solderings melted apart... the ones I have now fit fine, but the drivers one goes, a few weeks later the passanger one goes -_- always been the case with the 3 pairs I have had.

Other than the pair of LED lights that flexed the other two pairs work fine when put into another car.

Why does this happen? Really annoying :( :(

are you touching the glass when you install them? moisture transfere from your hands can cause the heat to be drawn to that area on the bulb, and blow quick. if you have to touch the glass when you fit them, make sure you give them a good wipe afterwards
