Strut nut tool set any good?

Has anyone used the Laser strut top nut removal / fitment tool set on their front struts and is it worth buying? Please don't suggest that i grip the piston with mole grips and do it that way as i don't want to risk damaging the strut.

This is the product: http://www.lasertools.co.uk/item.aspx?cat=379&item=823

i doubt if it would work personally, if the nut is rusted on, the only way is to remove the leg, compress the spring down, and clamp the shaft underneath the yellow bumpstop, shown in the pic (where any damage to the chrome finish is irelevant) :)

Sorry guys, i forgot to add in my original post that i probably wouldn't need it to remove the nut as the shocks f***ed anyway. I want to torque the nut to the correct setting on the new strut and wondered if these tool kits allowed the use of a torque wrench.
