I seem to have a small problem. When I am steering the Micra makes a horrible creaking noise.
Steering itself is ok. No play whatsoever.
Where should I look? Or better, what must I do to solve the problem?
By the way, the car has powersteering, but compared to the powersteering of the Micra of the Mrs. (a 1998 K11), the steering seems a bit heavier. Is this a common thing on K11 Micra's which are newer?
Bought the car 1,5 years ago with very low mileage (about 17000mls). Has that something to do with it maybe?
