Starting trouble

I have bought a 1993 model Nissan Micra. I have been driving it for past 10 days without any trouble. But twice I have faced starting problem when I tried cranking the engine in the morning. Is it suggested that I should press clutch and accelerator both together while starting the car in the morning? Is this cause of low temperature in night or some other defect?

Clutch will make no difference. It doesn't even have a sensor on it.

It may be flooding for some reason.
