Starter Motors

hi there guys!

My starter motor recently packed up a few days ago and I've been trying to get a hold of the part...
I rang the local parts shop and they said that it depends on the starter because apparently there are 2 and that I would need to change the ignition switch and it could damage my flywheel? Can anyone shed some light??

Whats your registration number? X812 VLS?

Well if it is tell the parts place a little bit of effort can make a difference heres is an ADL BLUEPRINT part number : ADN11262

Yeah that's my reg, I told them it and they said there's two types :S

some coilpack k11,s have the starter under the inlet mani eh (different starter to fit the different flywheel)

Yeah mine was under the inlet, Managed to get one from a Jap breaker for 20quid so It's all good! Thanks for all your help though
