Squeaky Wipers

Replaced the front wipers and theyre still screeching and dragging on the screen. Any idea what to do? To tight to the screen?

Did you clean the screens with anything, as this can cause the wipers to drag

I bought Bosch wipers and I cleaned it weeks ago and I replaced the wipers today and gave it a quick glass clean but they continued to drag

Are they aero blades?

Majority of the time the wipers will get the blame.

The actual linkage spindles were squeaking for me. Pop both wipers off, pop the rubber surround off and give the spingle a wiggle. Any movement? There's your issue.

Pack with grease for now and it'll be quite for a bit.

A permanent fix is to get a new linkage. A almost permanent solution is to actually bend the wiper arm so it's perpendicular to the screen. It's been covered a handful of times before and it worked for me!

Cheers, from sitting in the car it seems the wipers are pressed too tight to the screen. Will give the grease a go

Some times the springs on the wiper arms squeak a bit. Give them a grease too.

OR spray little WD40 on the wiper rubber, makes a treat ;-)
