speakers in car

was gunna get some 6x9's or simmilar my micra. my micra already has the plug in the boot for the speakers on the parcel shelf, but has no cable to run from tht to the speakers so i was jus gunna hard wire the cable i wud get with my new speakers into the plug. i was just wondering if anyone new what colour cable did what, ie which was left, which was right, or does it not matter?

Also does anyone no what size the speakers in the doors are so tht i cud upgrade them as well.
i have a 1998 facelift micra twister

thanks
steve

Door speakers are 6.5" but need to be shallow ones to clear the window runner..

rear would work fine with splicing into wires

set head unit to operate rear and left only then find the wires that way, same from the rear right

just keeptrying till you get the right combination,

cheers

I spliced into the rears from the head unit, (Before i saw the connector on the rear light haha) a set of customs in the parcel work wonders even when coupled with the stock speakers, you want a headunit that does r/l f/r bias with custom bass and trebble controls, but as stated, the speaker depth is rather...small.
