Spark plug & oil filter removal

I am servicing my sisters car (2002 Micra s)as a favour. How do I get the plugs out, there seems to be a plastic fitting (coil) on top.

Also the oil filter looks difficult to get at, any bright ideas.

yeah remove the coils one at a time, and remove the plugs with a deep socket. The coils should have 8mm bolts. and the spark plugs may be 16mm (dont hold me to that) for the oil filter get the car up on a ramp and it'll be on the back of the engine. easier access with a ramp. youll need a oil filter claw to remove it, ALSO WHEN REPLACING THIS, SMEAR SOME OIL AROUND THE NEW OIL FILTER'S RUBBER SEAL.
