spacer plate what size

no 1 headgasket and the spacer plate, they send you a spacer sealant to bond it to the head but it never sets so can be used again

its been done before but dont no what size to get

frank2 im trying to get it turbod in the next couple of month now it went on hold for a wild but at full force now ;-)

unless your chain has done some milage, you might find it to be too tight with a spacer added (you could test it first, with 2 old gaskets eh)
personally i would open up the combustion chamber, to a more circular, pizza pan shape to drop the c/r

To Do the job properly you need to calculate your current compression ratio - and then work out the compression ratio you want. Then calculate the volume of the different spacer plates to work it out.
Anyone with expert experience in building performance engines should be able to help.
IMHO spacer plates are to be avoided iff possible as there is ALWAYS a higher chance of head gasket failure due to 3 sealing surfaces instead of 2. Most plates are put on the block with Hylomar sealant.
