Single Shock Price?

Yes, one on eBay that I might be able to get at a reasonable price (who buys one shock?) but if a Nissan shock is, say, £60+ (which they no doubt are)then I might as well go for KYB, or similar. Not particularly looking for uprated or stiffer shock as my rat runs are in shocking (pardon the pun) condition.

Incidentally, do aftermarket replacement shocks usually have the bracket for the brake hose clips?

Yes, replace them as pairs. Recently changed the rears with Gabriels that I bought on Echo Bay. Surprised, however, to note that the old, originals still had some life in them (almost as good as the new ones) after 140K+ miles.
Don't know what company makes them for Nissan but they're obviously very good quality. Something that can be said for Nissan parts in general, so it would seem.
