Rear Shock Absorber (Dampers)

Hi,

1 of my rear shocks are leaking, so looking to replace the pair.
Anyone got any recommendations on decent brands?
I've been looking at Monroe.

Missed out on a pair of Monroe for £39. Hoping to get pair for around £40.

Gas shocks are always reckoned to be better for the enthusiastic car owner. Bilsteins are a good upgrade matched with lowering springs

Not really looking to do any modifications to mine, I'll be happy enough with better quality stock parts.

They last longer too apparently, that being said the original oil filled ones on my other car have lasted 24 years before they started making objections

Monroe Reflex I use. Never had an issue. They are quite pricey though compared to some others.

They're just generic aftermarket ones. They'll do the job I'm sure.
