Silicone Piping Joiners

Hey Cisco,

Where did you get your silicone piping joiners from? Also do they come in different sizes and bends?

I phoned up a few places in Canberra but they told me around $110 each and had to be ordered in. I need around 4-5

If anyone else can help me just post away!

www.modyourcar.com.au sell the entire range of "thermal flex" joiners, it's top quality gear, have used it myself

I got mine off some guy off ebay.

$14 each for 3inch long 2.5" diameter silicon - yes the brand was thermal flex, its printed on each piece. I bought 3.

That was the cheapest I could find them more. www.gcg.com.au and www.capa.com.au were much more expensive.
Other places have them on ebay for $17 also which was too expensive.

Is $14 a good price? I figured this stuff was expensive anyway..

I was going to get some off nissansilvia.com for around $30ish and $80 per bend!

No, those prices I had were for short straight sections. They are much cheaper, the bends are much more expensive, even on ebay.. But not as high as $80 or anything.

I reckon if you can, sometimes it might be another option to just get a mandrel bent alloy bend and just join it up with straight silicon joiners.

Yeah we tried that the first time, we already had to modify one of the outlets on the intercooler to do it.

Oh well I'll show you what I mean when you see Mighty next!
