Seperating headlight glass.

I want to smoke the chrome inside my headlights, I know how to seperate the glass, heat the silicone and gently prise but if i was to use an oven as some have suggested, how hot should it be and for how long, i don't want burning headlight in my kitchen.

i cant remember wht temp i put it to i preheated the oven too i think it was about 50 for about 5-10 mins and turn when golden

its only takes a few minutes to heat up, 50 or 60 degrees should be fine,
