Sealtbelt extension

While driving to cardiff, my fella was in the back seat so he could have more room problem was he is a big lad and couldn't fit the sealtbelt around himself, I was just wondering if its possible to buy some form of extension for a seatbelt as he wasn't very comfortable having no belt on!!

there are places that you can get these extended properly, when i worked at volvo, we had to have a few belts extended for a few customers, but i don't know where they was done.
