don't get too excited it is car related!!! i've got a strange piece of rubber/plastic hanging from the bottom of my micra, and i cant see it mentioned in the haynes manual - hope someone can help?
it's quite large (about the thickness of your fore-arm) situated around the middle of the car and seems to run from one side of the car to the other. almost in line with the gap between the front and rear doors and goes the whole width of the car. as i'm driving it is banging against the underside of the car and makes one hell of a noise! at first i thought my suspension had gone! does any one know what this is and if it's important. it looks like i could just rip it off but dont want to risk it until i know something.
