Roll cage help

Can anyone help. I have just bought a new OMP bolt in basic roll cage and have spent all day trying to get the front frame inside the car. What am I doing wrong, as it just won't fit. Everything is out apart from the dash. Has anyone fitted one before and did the dash need removing.

Hi Sharman I have an earlier version of your cage from balance Motorsport, will it not fit width wise?

I should say it has the now outlawed 2 bends in the front cage legs to avoid the dash, so I imagine the new design would need tweaks to the dash

This is also bought from balance motorsport and yes is the new design. I am not sure if the dash needs cutting, but can't even get it inside to even see if I will need to trim. I think I may need to contact OMP direct. Thanks.

That's really odd mine passed though the door no problem.. The centre main hoop needed a lot of fab work to make good bases for the feet and the rear cage legs were 2inchs too long!
