i have a 1.2 lx however it has the ecc stuff on it so a different ignition system where do i connect the rev counter too ?

Good question. I suppose a good start would be to look and see if there is a wiring diagram for your model in the haynes manual...

it still works on the same principal as a normal 1.2, its still got a coil on the side of the engine bay, there should be wires from it, all you will have to find out is whats the + and whats the - and the tap into the + and bring it to youre rev counter
You have to connect the rev counter to the coil, as it is connected on the following picture (to the white cable with a red stripe)... remember that if you are using the whole gauges (i dont know if that is the right word) from the SuperS you have to connect the rev counter thru the 2.2kOhm resistor... have phun
