Rev counter in haynes

somthing got me confussed today i need to wire up the tacho in the ss dials, so i thought id have a look in the haynes, now it has rev counter in the index on page two hundred and somthing but i went to that page, and there was nothing what so ever on the rev counter? am i just being stupid here? so anyway seing as the haynes cant help me i thought i'd ask you guys. i know roughly what i need to do but i'm not sure where abouts i need to connect the pulse in wire to the dizzy.

erm, this is where we connected it on a 2000 facelift micra

It goes to the ignition coil on the K10. Do a search, been covered loads of times

on the ss the signal came from the ecu, but on the standard, non ecc systems it connects to the coil as arnold said
