hey i was jus wondering if anyone knows where i can get CV joints for my 95 slx. preferrably cheap because nissan charges through the arse for new ones!

» CMF Memberjust go down to a place that only deals with cv joints they r usually really cheap. i know the guy from AAA cv's really well when i had my vr4 that snapped 5 axel splines inside the diff

Last week I checked the web and now they are located at Shaftmaster Driveshafts, Queanbeyan 171 Gilmore Rd 2620, (02) 6297 4555, Fax (02) 6297 4566.
I was given their name by a Brisbane company when I found a website phone number for CV Boots in Brisbane; try 07 3275 7600 ask for CV Joint Boot P/N 85-M008, cost was $18.26ea. Haven't checked if they still exist, don't know their name.
Give call Shaftmaster ask for a 180 CV Boot, cost me $15ea. I replaced both CV Boots a few years ago which was a 3-5hr job per side and very messy but satisfying when done!!!

nsm, i will probably be keen for some new ones soon as i can hear a knocking starting to appear in the drivers side. dont know how much longer it will last but definately when i have some money i will give you a call. do you have a few or just one?
