removing tints from my tail lights

is it possible to do and is it a easy job. I want to make them less tinted safer I guess.

Easiest way would probably be to take it right off and start again. I would've thought cellulose thinners would take it off. Could be wrong though, but i think you can get actually tint spray remover stuff.

paint thinner wont work? turps is it?

cellelose thinners will, turps wont as its not volotime enouch, just be cxarefull with the celle thinners tho as it might melt the plastic

well i only want to take a layer or off so they are more visable. the tinted lights are in my boot. my normal lights are on the car. well unless someone wants to swap my tinted for some facelift lights I assume they will fit the glass that is?

It'd be hard to take just a layer off.. Only way i can think of is sanding it, but that would be hard to get it even across the light. You'll have to remove it completely and tint it again with less layers.

Or stick them on ebay if no one here wants them.
