Removing Passenger Door Panel for Speakers

Pull the top of the inside door handle off. There are 2 screws under it.
Should just be able to do this by hand.

To get the window winder circlip off use a thin piece of wire bent in half to form a U-shape. You could also use fishing line.
Look behind the winder and it should be fairly obvious what you need to do.
The circlips can ping off at great speed, so keep an eye on it!

When refitting the winder, put the circlip on the winder shaft and push the winder back on.

The rest of the panel is on clips. Just pull the card at the bottom to unclip.
Once unclipped lift the panel upwards to get it out.

Wind the window down when refitting.

You can remove the pockets/grills from the door card then have them poke through when mount on an MDF baffle :)

You might then want to make up a new enclosure for them though!

If you not keen on hacking holes into you door cards, sell those speakers and get some JBL GTO components like mine, i just used the plastic surround that comes with em to mount the grill to give it that little extra clearance and used some silicone around the outer edge to avoid any virbration caused by mounting to a metal door.
These are real giant killers, try these with a Metalica Cd it will blow your mind, Ive had the same pair in my Renault 19, And Beemer and there are bullet proof but they dont need a massive amp to kill you.

The only down side in Motorworld selling them for pennies has really hurt the street cred.
