Removal of Gear lever

Just a quick querie.

Santa (aka the old man) got me a new gear shift for xmas for the K12.

Just wondering how you would get the old one off without cutting it (will do it if it is the last resort)

Is it bonded on or can i force it off with something like a screwdriver?

Will there be a lot of glue where the lever comes off and how much would a replacement cost when I come to sell the car

u just pull them off i have changed mine takes a bit of doing but u can pull it off the other 1 justs pops on
