Rear swaybar issue

Well...
Like most other people Ive got a whiteline HD rear swaybar and it's great. I bought some chunky custom droplinks from another bloke on here and they're really good too. What ISNT good is the fact that I didn't put bushes on the new droplinks because I didn't think it would be necessary, and at a recent track day one of them ripped through the bracket on the chassis that the droplink bolts through :(
Has anyone else had this happen?
Any suggestions for the best way to go about fixing it would be very much appreciated... I was thinking of getting a plate welded over the bracket to reinforce it?..

Cheers,
Daniel

Yeah its a common problem i have heard when running the large rear sway bar. I heard it rips the mounts off the rear of the car and they need to be welded back on.

Fair enough, good to know I'm not alone with this problem. Mycra, that's also a fair bet.. didn't use a torque wrench, just tightened the bolts to buggery, lol.
